Tarah and Jordan are married!! Just a few weeks ago we were lucky enough to be a part of their big day and we had so much fun!! The day began out at Tarah’s family farm, or as many of you will recognize the Nelson’s Pumpkin Patch!! Photos at the start of the day are always some of our favorite to take. We love the photo journalistic feel they so often have, its the beginning of the story for their big day! Plus we get to highlight all of the amazing little details Tarah picked out. You need to see her dress, its gorgeous!! And those shoes!!!!
As more friends and family trickled in we got ready to do all the family portraits in the shade of some massive evergreens right on their front lawn and we also managed to sneak in a super adorable first look and some really terrific portraits of just the two of them before we had to race down to their church for the big ceremony!! I don’t think we’ve ever seen a church so packed!!! Hardly a surprise though when you’re as easy going and fun to be around as Tarah and Jordan
After the ceremony I happily boarded the party bus with the newlyweds and the entire bridal party as we made our way to their favorite little hangout! Party buses are the best! I get to hang out with super fun people and capture all these hilarious wonderful little moments and it’s my job!! That’s awesome. We continually feel so lucky and blessed to have our passion for beautiful storytelling as our profession! Eventually it was time to head back to Grand Forks and the reception at the Alerus Center, with the flowers and styling by Sadie of Sadie’s Couture Floral & Event Styling. Man that girl is incredible! Her center pieces are total showstoppers. The flowers are to die for and every little detail flows together with impeccable design. Needless to say the reception was a blast! All of the toasts were touching and humorous and who doesn’t love the Bride and Groom’s first dance as husband and wife!?! We just want wish these two all the best as this new chapter in their lives begins!
