Erin & Tim are married!! And we got to photograph it! The first wedding of the summer is always such a blast, on top of which we’d recently discovered some great new photo locations that we couldn’t wait to try out.
The day began at the beautiful St. Micheal’s church in downtown Grand Forks. The ceilings tower above you and the massive stained glass windows let in very nice light on sunny afternoons. We started with some getting ready photos of the bridesmaids and as soon as Erin slipped into her wedding dress we couldn’t stop snapping photos! She was absolutely stunning! How can you not be jealous of that red hair!?! The nuptial mass began shortly after everyone was ready. Erin and Tim opted to forgo First Look photos and saved the reveal for the walk down the isle and we were right there ready to capture it all!
After the ceremony, shout out to Father Greg for his wonderful homily, every guest who attended the wedding lined up on the church steps for a really fun, massive send off photo. It was the first time we’d ever attempted one with sooo many people and it worked out perfectlyThen we headed out to explore our new photo locations with the bridal party bus in tow. It was almost like doing a photo session with a giant boom box that followed you everywhere! Pretty sure the bridal party did not stop signing once, they were the best and they even took requests!
We finished up with the bride and groom portraits just in time for the reception. The food was wonderful, the speeches were touching and fun, and the dance left nothing to be desired. It was an incredible day and we felt so fortunate to be a part of it. We wish these two nothing but the best as they began the newest chapter of there lives together. We also hope they have a great Alaskan summer and that they hurry back home so we can get in a double date/game night!!
